I'd read it to find out who it belongs to - then return it to them.

Read it :heehee:, then put it back in the tray. Unless there was something bad in it about me. In this case I would destroy it.
'Then' my thoughts would be with the email sender (and his/her family) :heehee:.

On a serious note, I think it would depend on how naughty I felt on the day. If I did read it, I am very good at keeping stuff to myself. As @shiney says though, it is the responsibility of the person printing it to keep it confidential.

and my thoughts exactly, "It is the responsibility of the person printing it to keep it confidential.
As I said earlier, there are 4 printers in the building, located in relative proximity to persons office, where you can press "Print" and even before its done you can be at the printer grabbing it out. Which is what I do. Thus if no one is standing there, and I print something, walk down there and grab up my many pages and walk back and still no one appeared to look for their stuff. And now back to my desk I leaf through my reports to organize them, and find one sheet that was not mine, ----well Oh well.

Its funny the office manager is always saying to everyone, come get your printing, don' t leave it there sitting, so people just leave it sitting there in general for all to see. Sometime, someone will print out a juicy email. But its on them to go get it right away.
