Just testing

 

I'm not very well up on social media or blogs but I'm not sure that I see any point in having a blog here on GC. I presume it can only be seen by members - but that's what the threads are for.

Maybe I'm wrong.

 

Good morning @shiney my old mate ,I have a Blog under my signature and I am very pleased to say that it has over 10.000 views which I am very proud of and is visited from all over the world and many GC friends which I am truly thankful for(there's a song in there somewhere) to many countries to mention

Hi Woo ,

Even I have looked at your Blog, and enjoyed it. But is it a blog on GC or a separate one that's just in your signature?

I was trying to distinguish between the GC blog tab at the top of the page and people's individual blogs.

The blogs on GC seem to be very few and even fewer entries from people. Whereas members that have their own blogs (in their signatures) appear to gets lots of entries.

If a member has their own blog in their signature then it will be seen every time they write a post. A blog on the GC blogs page will only get looked at if a member clicks on the Blog tab at the top.

Am I misunderstanding it?

@NorthantsGeezer last count was 10,747 when you get to my age you stop hitting buttons you merely stroke them
