Thinking about getting some Epsom salts, is there any plants that would not like the salts used around them??

Good evening @"M" please be careful my friend,It is likely that that adding Epsom salts to soil that is already depleted in Magnesium will be beneficial. However, if your soil is already rich in magnesium, adding more is unlikely to bring about more beneficial effects and may potentially be harmful. It tends to acidify the soil. If your soil pH is already low, adding Epsom salt could actually be detrimental.;)

Camellias like a dose in June/July but only when the soil is wet so that it can pass down freely,

:oopss: seems I've side-tracked your original question (and it still hasn't been answered)

                    So: ....
Are there any plants which would not like Epsom Salts in the soil around them?

I would say no there aren't any plants which would not like Epsom Salts in the soil around them - as it's needed by all of them for the production of chlorophyll. But as is said earlier - too much of a good thing can be bad...with the exception of a good sherry

                        Just another view point;)

Epsom Salts' (technically Magnesium Sulfate, or MgSO4) is one of just a few water-soluble Sulfate minerals, and it is a soluble salt -- a salt that dissolves in water. ALL chemical fertilizers are also 'soluble salts'. When Ammonium, Potassium, Chloride or Nitrate dissolve in water, they are soluble salts. A little will fertilize the plants. Too much will damage and sometimes destroy a plant. That can happen quickly --or it can take time and build up slowly. THERE IS NO DIFFERENCE BETWEEN YOUR USE OF EPSOM SALTS AND THE USE OF A CHEMICAL FERTILIZER LIKE MIRACLE GRO. Because ALL chemical fertilizers ARE SALTS. Salts KILL microbes in your soil.
