Solved (Escallonia) Shrub riddle

    Sorry, I haven't got a photo of this one, but it'll probably be easy to guess, hopefully.

    It's a shrub, up to 8 feet high, vigorous, with profuse small pale pink flowers right now (September). They are tubular, opening out at the mouth. Leaves are small, ovoid and glossy, looking like they may be evergreen.

    I'm sure it's something fairly common. Escallonia?

    Escallonia was my first thought too :)

    Possibly 'Apple Blossom'.
