Wild & windy today but we'd planned on going so we went anyway.

They've made a reconstruction of a Saxon Village.

It was quite cosy in the huts, would have been great with a fire going.

Thought Eddie j would like this one,

Inside the old walled garden a group of gardeners has been given permission to re start the veg garden. The end 2 glasshouses have been renovated.

Looks like a Kiwifruit growing against the back wall.

Nice to see it being used again.

I love the look of this place and the Saxon village is brilliant, but sadly Ziggy there are three things about sculpture that I don't like.

Owls, mushrooms and you can guess the third.:snork:

            Hiya Ziggs.

I'm just trying to recall if I've been there. Did they have a falconry thingy there?

Sorry, i'd missed the replies on this one.

Eddie, owls, mushrooms & other people doing it?:snork:

Marley, give us a shout when you do.

Freddy, yes, they do regular displays of Falconry. They got Wild Boar & Otters too.
