My Euphorbia characias wulfenii is flowering now! Usually they flower in spring. Anyone else having this December treat? Very odd. IMG_5072resize.JPG IMG_5073resize.JPG I guess the flowers will all wilt when the frost arrives.

No I haven't got that flowering but some of my daffodils are in blooming already. Daffodils for Christmas!! :hate-shocked: I'm wondering if we're actually going to get any hard frost here this winter :dunno:

No Euphorbia but I do have Brugmansia sanguinea, Canarina canariensis, Salvia confertiflora and Salvia leucantha in bloom in the garden at the moment!

Euphorbia characias flowering in December is normal here, I don't know if it's different there though.

My E. characias normally opens its flowers in March, but the buds are there all winter.
It is flowering now.ie. shedding pollen.

Did notice today that my pomegranate is shooting again, it only lost its leaves about a month ago, so there will be really bad die back, I assume, once the frosts do hit.

Even had to water some of the outside pots today, the wind is drying them out fast.
