Hi all .. a few weeks ago i had a bad viral eye infection which lasted for a few weeks .. in both eyes although the right eye was a lot worse .. after seeing 2 Docs and lots of Anti biotic eye drops and steroid cream for under the eyes on my skin as the infection had spread there as well i finally made good headway untill a few days ago when out of the blue a very large floater appeared in my right eye .. i can see the damn thing all the time and its just awful .. ive had floaters for years but they dont worry me as they have been small and not intrusive but this is worrying me .. i know i should go back to the Doctor and i probably will ... i wondered if any one here has had intrusive large floaters that over time have improved or even dissapeard .. thanks for any input Micky :what:

I'd get it checked out Mickey, probably just gunk left over from the infection, but you don't want to mess about when it comes to sight. I used to get infections when I was sandblasting, its no fun.

O/H gets Blepharitis & so gets a lot of floaters.. A cousin had a detached retina too so get it checked... Eyes are so precious... Go to your optician as they are brilliant at diagnosing eye problems... They will be able to tell you straight away...
