I have bought some of the above plugs from Dobies which arrived today through the letterbox.

I was hoping there may be a care sheet or similar with them but there is not (or anything on their website that I can see).

I have an allotment I can put them on but wondered if they work well in pots too? When would I expect them to be ready for harvest? and do you just cut the head off and let it continue to grow? Never grown any before but we consume a lot in the house.

    Many Thanks

Probably ready for harvest about 10-15 weeks after planting depending on size of plants. Afteer harvesting the main head, further sprouts should develop if all goes well. Treat as cabbage about 2' apart in well manured/compost rich soil. Ideally protect from pigeons and butterflies, maybe cabbage root flies as well. Could grow in pots but would need to be on the large size.
