I just wanted to thank you all for the support given to me regarding the recent issue on GC. Also thanks for the lovely Xmas message and the current New Years message at the top of the page.

Recent years have been very tricky/upsetting for me to put it mildly and GC has been a fantastic place to come when times have been tough.

I just want to tell you how much I love being a member here and I really appreciate all the work the Staff do all year round to keep this a happy and friendly forum.

Last but not least, I hope you all have a very happy and healthy 2018!

 

I agree with @Fern4. I have been going through some difficulties recently, which will continue into 2018, and have found lots of comfort in GC. You are all such a friendly bunch, and I love hearing the banter which goes on. It's also a place where I can find an interesting fact to distract me or join in with a game when I am worried or sleepless.

So, thank you to the people who run this forum, and to the people who use this forum.

 

Yes I have to agree with @Fern4 and @Irmemac regarding helpfulness from both Admins & Members who welcomed me in a nice way when I joined last month

As some forums can be very touchy on banter besides discussions and what's written and it gives off an atmosphere before you try and mix with people.

It's a pleasure with in itself to log in each day as there's a laugh amongst one discussion or another and it brightens a persons attitude.
