    Hi,

I have inherited a garden and have a number of plants I'm not sure what they are. I'm at the very beginning of learning about gardening and could do with your help to understand whether some of these plants are weeds and should be removed or to use them. I think one of them is a Fern but I'm unsure what type and the other I have no idea what it is. Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated. I'm currently building a vertical garden and wondering whether I could use the Fern as part of that

    1) Euphorbia cyparissias (Cypress Spurge)

N.B. The sap from spurge can cause skin blisters.

Thanks Scrungee. Have ripped them out and I'll bin them.

Thanks on the fern silver surfer. I'll give it a try in a vertical garden and see how I get on.

    Good decision.
It is an invasive thug ...that will grow through every plant in a border and is almost impossible to eradicate.
