Helenium El Dorado with Black Adder seemed popular last summer.......this combination lasted all summer well into autumn. Might be my favourite also with hydrangea pan Limelight (not green bet white flowers) elsewhere. I have several plantings of Black Adder......another with Taxus Standishii and pittosporum Tom Thumb and artemisia powys castle. Also backing Wild Swan and in front of another helenium (Amber) . Also trying it with salvia bulleyana blue lips.....lovely plant I also had it with sanguisorba Red Thunder last year and that worked well.
Another agastache I like, quite similar but more pale blue Mark, is Summer Sky. Not as tall but more "bushy"

I'd love to be able to grow Hakenochloa like that! And hostas without holes for that matter
