Foliage In Hanging Baskets

I normally put ivy as the foliage in my hanging baskets but last summer I saw that alot of people had some fern like foliage which is really pretty. Does anyone know the foliage I mean and the name of it? ....Or maybe have any suggestions for something new?

 

Emerald / Aspargus fern? Asparagus densiflorus sprengeri - floppy growth, but pretty untidy, and may be rather large?

Boston fern? Nephrolepis exaltata - but I'm not sure you'd get anything in the basket with it!
