    Recently browsing the net I came across this site. Gardeningdatafiles.com
    Roses in Regents Park.
    Wow! how this brought back so many memories. Please forgive this oldie for once again returning to the past.

    Regents Park and Queen Mary's Rose Garden. A must if you visit London. Reading the account. Soon the name of an old friend appeared. S M Gault. He was the then park superintendandt. It was he who nominated me to the RHS to become a Fellow. What he didn't know about roses, didn't matter.
    Reading this account, I learned a great deal about my friend and also the area of Regents Park, it's history etc. Please read the article.

        Yes, the very man. He wrote several books on roses. When he passed away the RHS reported it in the Garden journal. I submitted a piece that was also printed.
