Which? magazine are giving a free Grow Your Own Vegetables guide. :yahoo:

I have checked with them and it is OK for me to put the details on GC so that our members can take advantage of the offer. :dbgrtmb:

It includes a free packet of Gardeners Delight and a pull-out Year Planner.

You call them on a free phone number - 0800 533 035 and quote reference VEG231F

I'm sure they will also try to sell you a subscription to one (or more) of their magazines but there are no strings attached so it is up to you. I get their Which? Gardening magazine (amongst others) and it is always interesting.

    Hi Shiney,
I too have sent off for this and have recieved it along with a regular Which mag and a pkt of corriander seeds. All I was required to do was to pay a one off of £3.00 to cover a 3 month period and I would in turn recieve a full version of Gardeners and Regular Which. If I don't wish to recieve any more I just cancel before the 4th month. If not it's £9.75.

    Happy Reading peeps

The Daily Mail is giving away free grow your own guides, along with free seeds all this week. It's great, I have collected all the packets so far.

Also free advice on growing vegetables in season here Seasonal Gardening - April in the vegetable garden

Well it is very rare you get something for nothing, as in Never

So if you make contact, do you get into the READERS DIGEST scenario, bombarded with take a subscription now, buy this if not returned in 30 days your account will be debited £124 etc

Anyone do it last year and know the answer

I did the RSPB bird survey last week, thought I was doing my bit helping them
NO it is just to get your phone, email. house address details, and now constant joing rspb now, half price nest boxes, 20% off visits to rspb nature reserve

The Which? offers are always 'no strings attached' ones.

I also did the RSPB survey but ticked the box saying I didn't want them to communicate with me.

        Hi Jack
Yes I did it last year and they got me into a subscription for 1st 3 months of full gardening mag and which mag for £3.00 per month then after that it went up to £9.00 but you could stop the subscription if you didn't want to pay full price.

I kept it on from March till November. Magazine I thought was worth it if you are more of an intermediate gardener but being as I'm no where near, twasn't for me.
