    For the last 3 years I have unsuccessfully been trying to grow 2 Clematis Princess Catherine in containers and failed miserably ..I'm sure they would thrive in the ground but I have no space so if anyone fancies them I am more than happy to send them..I really don't want to just 'get rid' of them and happy to pay postage so long as they go to a good home.:dbgrtmb:

            I have always found "easy to grow" clematis in containers troublesome to say the least. I have less than a 50% success rate. Some linger on for one or two seasons and die, others grow like there is no tomorrow. I have admitted defeat in most cases, and am trying other plants to fill the gaps.
