I too grow some every year. This year I have Crackerjack and Bonita again. They are so willing to flower. I keep some in the greenhouse. Others get planted out at row ends in the vegetable plot. Mainly they go in pots and baskets because any that go in the flower beds rapidly get munched by slugs.
I will also be sowing calendula which have the advantage of being slug resistant in my garden.

I grow these miniature Marigolds every year ,Tagetes tenuifolia 'Starfire' . The photo is lemon colour , also you can have yellow and the reddy colour . They grow as a little clump ( or whatever the correct gardening term is !) About 8" high with hundreds of flowers on each plant through to October each year . Cheap as chips and 100% germination in 4 days :dbgrtmb:

Common as muck bedding plant but an absolute bargain bed filler and they keep cats away apparently?
