    Hi,

While checking for Slug and Snails in the flower and strawberry bed was pleased to see some decent sized frogs.

However never sure if the larger snails ,eg 25mm + diameter or those really big 50mm + black slugs should be removed or left for the frogs - they seem almost too large for them ?

Don't get any 'hogs these days due to new neighbours fencing and thrushes seldom seen though still a few blackbirds.

Hello ricky101, unless your frogs have knives and forks, I don't think they'd tackle large slugs and snails. In fact, I'm not convinced that they're much bothered about smaller ones either. The last couple of years, the plants next to my pond have been infested with tiny, white snails. Despite the pond heaving with frogs (and toads in Spring). They seem to prefer flying insects.
