As we are getting into frogspawn season, just thought we could all compare notes and see what all the frogs are up to!!!

Our frogs have legged it, so no spawn yet but a friend up the road has so much, she's having to give it away to stop her pond getting clogged up with it!!!!

    Anyone else got any yet?

A couple have shown themselves but are not in amplexus yet. A pair of Palmate newts are swimming around but they don't look big enough to mate, still plenty of time. [IMG]

Not seen any frogs yet, too cold still and we had a thin film of ice on the pond this morning.

About 2 weeks ago, I saw that the warning signs of toads crossings had been put up already, so I guess things will be early this year. Our frogs haven't heard the news yet though.

You don't want to no what the frogs in my ponds are getting up to. [IMG] ;)

I have had to move some very frisky frogs out of the big pond into the nature pond.

When will they learn which pond is for them and which one is for the fish.
