Fruit preserving season

    Been out to Redcoats Orchard this morning. Picked a bag of Katy apples plus windfalls for the Kuni pigs. The deer are running amok and damaging the bases of trees by pilfering but the old guy who owns it says he doesn't mind now - all wildlife is welcome there.

    they will eat as many apples as you care to give them. Used to be 6 but only 4 left now.

      If you use recycled jam/honey jar's and you have problems getting the old glue off the jar's use a little bit of coconut oil 100% raw, rub a little bit on the glue, leave for a while then wash off
