Hiya, Gogs. I don't know about other EU countries, but we are about £1 a litre (assume we're not talking diesel here).

Perhaps Sis (Kedi-Gato Germany) or Hyla Arborea (France) can say what they are paying.

100.9 here, the government cant lower the tax on petrol/diesel because they are skint, they've spent it all and are now in the manure.

I've signed, now all I need is the road tax lowered to a sensible level, plus the price of servicing (just been charged £38 quid for half an hours labour) and insurance tax dropped and I might be able to afford the car I want.

Pete, If you think thats bad when the fuel pump went 2 years ago on my 01 reg transit I paid out £600 labour at £100 per hour to Ford.

The independant garadge I use for normal stuff charge £35 per hour in 10 min units and do things properly.

Sadly my experience of ford found them to be a right shower of W******. When I got the van back there was oil spilt in the back load area, paint chipped on the drivers door and greasy marks on the dash. BTW it was spotless upon going in for repair.

Trouble is the vehicle manufacters have us over a barrel by making tooling and diagnostics specific to the vehicle and thus ensuring that often independant gardges are unable to major jobs.

Not sure it will be taken notice of but signed the petition.

Anyone else had an email of the governments response to the petition.
    A load of old pony.

Total waste of time and effort, these people only listen to one thing, and thats the ballot box.
Trouble is knowing which bunch of deaf, pompous, lieing, criminal, morons to vote for

They were saying on the radio today that £42 Billion is collected each year in road taxes and other taxes and yet only £10 Billion goes back into maintaining the road systems,so the radio presenters were asking where does the other £32 Billion go to.No one seemed to know the answer to that one

Well, someone has to pay for all the illegal immigrants. [IMG] [IMG] :D I had one as well, Pete, so it`s the fuel companies who are to blame for something like 80% of the price going to the government in taxation. I thought as much. [IMG]

No. I think they should be hung upside down from a goal post and whipped until the blood runs down their backs. Well actually, as they are hanging upside down the blood would run up their backs. So that will confuse them as well. [IMG]
