Is it normal that my green beans so far have been "furry" of texture?!

Do you have a close-up photo? Not easy to comment otherwise.

They look pretty much like normal beans to me :blue thumb:. When you say 'furry', do you mean to the touch or to eat?

Touch... Feels odd. Like a peach except the "fur" kinda "grips" your fingers. I've not cooked them as I'm unsure if it's normal lol!

Yes, that's normal. They tend to feel that way when they're young and fresh, although they don't look 'furry'. If you leave them on the plant until they're very smooth they can get a little tough on the outside.

Those in your picture look to be the 'french' bean type and not runner beans (can't quite tell for certain). If they are french beans then the larger ones are ready for picking.

I think they are French. So I can eat them when furry? Lol I grew green beans on the past but never had furry ones

Just pick and eat them, they're fine, nothing to worry about!

Blanch and freeze any surplus though, I've just done a load and have loads more to pick and freeze, the more you pick the more you get, Enjoy!
