I am in the process of starting a garden company here in Sweden, (To cut a long story short, I am doing it because the government pays half of the private companies wages, so the customer only pays half, as opposed to not having a company and making the customer pay full price. Resulting in an easier time getting clients.)

It will be mainly pruning and small tree removals, general maintenance and garden renovations, with a small amount of landscaping, until I learn more. I am qualified in horticulture, and experienced in maintaining the majority of machines, (including farm equipment), repairing them, health and safety, management, drawing garden plans etc.

I am really struggling to think of a unique and suitable name.. does anyone have any ideas?

    Thanks in advance,

Why not just The Mad Hatter? A company name doesn't have to be 'appropriate' these days. It just needs to be simple and memorable.

        Which is best:

Neighbour 1: "Who does your garden?"
Neighbour 2: "Greenthumb garden services ltd"
Neighbour 1: "Thanks, I might give them a call sometime".

        Or

Neighbour 1: "Who does your garden?"
        Neighbour 2: "The mad hatter"
        Neighbour 1: "Yeah right, really?"
Neighbour 2: "Yes, that's what he calls himself, for real"
Neighbour 1 to neighbour 3: "Neighbour 2's gardener is apparently called the Mad Hatter"
and so on and so on.

Boring names don't get talked about.

Thankyou all for the replies! I think I will go for something along the lines of "Mad Hatter Garden Service". Of course, I'm still open to suggestions, I won't make anything official for a few more weeks.

                  Hi

The English name may not translate into Swedish ?

I think "Mad" is not the way forward with a Company name :snork:

It won't be translating, it will be staying as English. [emoji3]

Blossom Hill is already used by a wine company so I don't know if you could use that.

How about 'Hatters Garden Maintenance' or 'HGM'. I know it's boring but the name needs to stand the test of time and not become dated. You could also use 'Hatters Horticulture'.
