    Planned and underway on the Isle of Man, the creation of a 32ha garden funded by a billionaire called Mark Shuttleworth and using some of the worlds leading garden designers, apparently.
    Saw it in the RHS rag

    I thought I recognised the name. Mark Shuttleworth is the founder of a company called Canonical, which is the founding company of Ubuntu Linux, which is quite possibly the most successful (and copied) linux distro out there, bringing it out of the realm of the geeks and into the realm of the humans.

    He is one of these that's right into collaboration rather than competition, so consequently his endeavours, whatever they are, are usually a great success.

    The only Shuttleworth I know from the IOM won the 1935 TT on the "Shuttleworth Snap TT racer ". He drove through a pub and a haystack on the way to winning as well :biggrin:
