This weekend I finally started the shed after having the base ready from the landscaping earlier in the year. Come on very quickly.

Hopefully I can get the cladding finished this week so that I can put the roof on at the weekend.

    Day One,

Day Two, covered up in case it rains...

Looking good. I want to build a 8x8 pent shed with treated timber but cant get a good deal on the wood yet. It would work out the same price as buying one from say tiger sheds who are great but it would be stronger. one day...............

Update on progress... Found some very cheap double glazed windows on eBay which I am picking up later. So hopefully will get the framing up for those so I can carry on cladding.

Operation Roof will hopefully be in full swing on Sunday.

Seems a shame to keep it as a shed now... Any ideas?? :-)

Looking great! Are you insulating it at all?

Not insulating, not thought about, its going to be more of a garden store.

Will have my mower, BBQ, chairs, covers and all garden tools in I think. Back of the garage I am going to build some storage for all my tools etc.

You could use it as a potting shed too? Keep trays of seedlings next to the windows perhaps.

@JWK Think I may do that, good idea. :-)

@wiseowl Have left enough room to get a roller down the back and side for wood preservative etc. :-)

Ah right ok... i thought you might have been making a bit of a man cave... in which case, i'd have recommended some insulation :)
