    Just googled those Woo,

the Queen of Bourbons is enchanting, as is The Queen of the Musks.

Then I came across another Queen, and I just will definitely have to have one of these-Queen Nefertiti.

Hi Freddy Its a Modern Climber repeat flowering Bred 1957-Parents Charlotte Armstrong X Captain Thomas, loves the shade good for a North facing Wall:)

The short answer is that rambling roses usually flower once where as climbers usually repeat flower throughout summer and autumn,( but there are exceptions. )and Golden Shower's is one of these exceptions:thmb:

Hi again WOO. You say it loves the shade. Does that mean it isn't happy in the sun ? Also, is it like Crimson Showers in that it gets smothered in flowers ? Cheers...freddy.

Hi Freddy Its just like me ,(Its happy anywhere in the Sun or shade)
Its just A rose that can be Grown in the shade and on a north facing wall, where a lot of roses wouldn't do as well under those conditions:)

Hi folks. Went out yesterday to the G/C (as you do :) ) and bought Lady Of Shalott. I saw it mentioned somewhere so it caught my eye. It's a shrub rose with what are described as copper-yellow blooms, although to my eyes (if you can believe the pic on the label) it looks like apricot. Anyway, I planted it yesterday as soon as I got back so nothing more to do but wait....and wait....and wait... :) As soon as I get some blooms, I'll post some pics in the 'gallery' Cheers...freddy.
