    Just wondered whether anyone knows where i could source this plant?

    Philip, not even my RHS Plant Finder for year 2006-2007 has this type of Gardenia listed.
    So unless you are mistaken for Gardenia Veitchiana, which is available in Suffolk at Shrubland Park Nurseries

    Seems it's a fairly new plant and may be endangered in its natural environment. Could be difficult to source.

    Found a US site with some pics - scroll about half way down the page.Top Tropicals

    Yes, it was the TopTropicals site which got me intersted in this plant in the first place. It looks stunning and is apparently much easier to look after than other Gardenias. I didn't know that it might be endangered.
