    Hi,

I planted some garlic last year (November I think?) and it has grown nicely but I am just wondering when to harvest it? And how best to harvest it?

Also can I replant some of it that I dont use for next year?

I usuall harvest mine when the tops have pretty much died, July maybe.

I've been saving a few from previous years to replant in October and had no problems.

Thank you so much Pete. I thought as much but just needed some clarification!

I must admit that in my previous garden, I only harvested when I needed them! So they sat in the ground, and kept spreading such that I had quite a colony.
