Morning just thought you may find this useful last year I struggled germinating Trinadad scorpion chilli seeds they took nearly 4 wks to germinate on a window sill (South facing) so this year I made a propagator type invention I manage to get a 2ft by 2ft polystyrene box with a lid and brought a second hand heat mat with a thermostat which held the temp perfectly at 25c the same seeds germinated in 8 days and it halved the germination time on all my seeds total cost £16 the heat mat and thermostat were designed for a reptile setup but worked great

I've been growing the TMS chillies proper since 2013.

I prefer the cheap and cheerful method myself: ice cream tub (or any other suitable PP, HDPE or LDPE plastic container), cling film, elastic band and an South facing window sill.

I started mid-February this year and, surprisingly, got a 100% germination rate after ten days from third generation collected seeds.

OP, post a picture of your setup - link it from an external image hosting site so us lurkers can view it without having to login.

Most people online are like water - they flow through the path of least resistance.

If you want more eyeballs on your website, and if eyeballs equals more revenue from ads, then wouldn't you reduce, if not remove all of the barriers to access from your own site?

For me, the login process interrupts my web surfing flow especially when I'm doing quick google/bing/yahoo searches for garden related stuff. I find it more convenient to view images on (www.growfruitandveg.co.uk) than I do on here.

Nobody said it wouldn't be of any interest.

If you supply a picture then it exists.

And, if we could see it then someone might be able to emulate your setup and make use of it, or even adapt it to suit their own needs.
