I've opened up pumpkins (but more often marrows) in spring to find the seeds inside have started germinating.

pumpkins are ever so easy to germinate , if you buy a pumpkin for halloween , keep the seeds and plant them in spring , you can even toss seeds in the ground and you will have pumpkins next year , what` I`m say is , pumpkins should not grown in pots but in soil , what Mira has done it `s a nice idea , but the pumpkin will start to rotting soon and eated by mould along with the seedling .

first of all it is not my pumpkin I just picked the pic somewhere (:catapult:)and then what do you think that I would let the shoots grow in there? I am not that experienced but still i can work out that it is not a brilliant idea!
