You've done it now, I want one:DOH:Lets see, stuck at home due to Daughter #2's work experience. Have got most of the office work out of the way today, have got a pile of bricks & half a ton of lime mortar.....

          Thanks for sharing:thumbsup:

The second and last pictures are taken from 'the mount' a man-made hill from which you can see the whole garden, I'll upload more and some close-ups of flowers when I get the chance, enjoy everyone.

JWK they grow grapes, apricots and nectarines in it and also propagate some flowers, it dates back to the 1820s.

Not finished yet but here's the progress so far...

Footings extended from the top of the underpinning, nothing major, only taking a 4" wall.

Won't be as big as Freedom Spark's Glasshouse on account of not enough clearance to make it full height without messing up opening the windows, well, that was the original plan:DOH: But the best laid plans of mice & zigs...

Probably wont use the windows I got from the glaziers skip here, but might wait till I can afford to build some propper fitted ones.

Looking good Ziggy, I'm just about to have the sealed glass unit replaced in my patio doors, that would probably have done for your project.

                        :-(

I thought you meant the footings for a replica full scale of the walled castle, not a piffing cold frame :-)
