    These little beauties were born recently under the mypex covering on the poly tunnel floor. Three so far. [​IMG]

    Loads of taddies and smooth newt eggs in pond now.

    You are very lucky Strongy., newts, frogs and now slow-worms- or is it that you try to provide a habitat for them?
    What do they eat?

    WOW SLOW-WORMS!!!!!!!!!!!!! [​IMG]

    and newts and frogs!!!!!!! Will send the little darlings down for the bank holiday weekend!! ;) They will be in heaven!!!! Your garden must be up for a protection order, soon!!!!! (and you should have no problems with slugs!!!!

    They are in the poly tunnel at work, The heating is fom mid march so it provides a nice warm environment for the young to grow. The adults aren't around at the moment and leave the young to care for themselves. They are often surrounded by red ants which also live under the matting, but are not bothered by them at all although ants are not usually a part of their diet like slugs.

    Here's another recently born slow worm only 3ins long, the others have disappeared.
