Good Food, Good Drink..... Less Waste!

Many (most!) of us here do not like waste of any kind, but more-so when it is food that is being wasted; and I know for a fact that there are a number of members here who are very skilled and take great pleasure in home cooking, providing hearty meals for our families with maximum taste whilst using up our 'leftovers' (often the best meals!) - and I am aware that we have a 'Recipes' area, but it is currently quite underused, and needs a bit of a kick start. I think (personal opinion here only), part of the reason for that is that many of us frequent areas like this and forget that these sub-forums exist (I know I do!).

So, I thought I would do a couple of things to see if we can't get things going again, and all get to sharing our tips, tricks and recipes!

The first, is to create this thread which contains a link (below) to the Recipes sub-forum; I will make this thread a sticky to keep it at the top of the page, but I will lock it so that it remains as a simple shortcut, and therefore does not retract from the Recipes sub-forum.

Next, I will create another thread, here in Off Topic Discussion (as opposed to Site Suggestions, purely to give it maximum exposures) where we can share some ideas, and I will put up a notice with a link to that thread.

Whilst this thread will be locked immediately after I post it, I would appreciate it if you would click like to give me some indication as to whether you think this is a good idea (or not as the case may be.....) - for all other comments, can I please as that you put them in the suggestions thread.
