GOOD NEWS - FAT CONTROLLER

    I think that most members, apart from the recently joined, will have noticed that a much valued member of the the Admin Team, Fat Controller, has been absent from the middle of February and there's been very little news posted on the Open Forum about that.
    Fat Controller fell very seriously ill in February and was admitted to the Intensive Care Unit for treatment. We have kept in touch with his family who have kept us updated on his progress to recovery and we are very grateful to them for taking the time to do so during that time.
    The good news is that Fat Controller is now recovering, slowly, but surely, and he sends
    all his best wishes to the GC Gang. It will be some some weeks before he is able to sit in his Office seat,hog all the Hobnobs, get the Whiskey out of the secret drawer, and put his feet up on the desk, but we have kept his seat warm for him and the Office Cat will have to sit on Ziggy's seat instead. So we will have Fat Controller back among us, hopefully, in a month or two.:hapydancsmil:

      That is good news. I had noticed he wasn’t around, but didn’t like to ask. Wishing him a full and speedy recovery, and looking forward to his valued contributions. He has been missed.

        SO SO pleased, he has been sorely missed. Let's hope his recovery gains pace and he will be back posting on GC again before long.

          I've been personally aware of FC's health issues for some while but would like to say not a day goes by when I'm not willing and wishing him better. I miss him - we all miss him. Get well and come back to us soon FC!

            I shall try to visit him if at all possible during my trip, and if allowed. Foreign possibly germy people may not be allowed.

            In the meantime, I appreciate this wonderful update and as soon as he is able, I hope he joins us here so he can accept my datastream of good will and my strength.
