    Hi

I have cut back most of the brambles and undergrowth in my garden, my thoughts are of having a nice lawn now.

I have scarified the ground so the top soil is loose and nearly ready for grass seeding, can you advise a good seed for a general purpose use and when to sow it please,
preferably one I will not have to cut once it has come through.

My previous post for where I got mine from.

Buying grass seed online - a recommendation

I got the fine quality grass. It's pretty well established by now. Being very fine too, it's less work to cut. Depends on how much traffic you're likely to have on the lawn though.
