Hi! We are concidering planting a sweet cherry tree in our garden and the one we've seen on offer is about 6-8 feet. Although I love to see cherry blossom flowers blooming on a tree, it causes a tremendous mess when the wind blows it on to the ground, so could someone please tell me if the cherry blossom flowers grow on a sweet cherry tree, or does it grow on another type of tree, as I don't want to cause problems with any of my neighbours? Also, could you please tell me the minimal length from our boundary fence that we are able to plant this tree?

    Kind regards
    Janet
