      You sure you didn't Photoshop it by accident? :heehee:

      I always think that photos of mature specimens, putting on a good show, look "unreal" and too big for their surroundings. I reckon its happy in that spot :)

        Mines massive too, I don't know how I'll be able to fit anything else in the garden now. It must be a record of the biggest sized gunnera ever!!!

            al-n is this its first year? I've planted one in my copse end this year (bought as a pea sized "dying" plant in the sales) and its about your size now :)

                It's got lots of small leaves coming through now, it looks healthy and the pot has one tiny little drain hole so it's very moist all the time. It's probably the runt of the manicata world, but hey, even a runt likes to be loved! :wub2: :wub2: :grphg: :imphrt:

                    I had to trim mine two years ago, and I dumped the roots in the adjoining field. It is now over 10 feet high already :(
