    As most of my gardening is in pots (50+ at a guess) I tend to use smaller tools. My favourite ones are a set of Bonsai ones which are brilliant for seedlings. This is what I keep in a zipped plastic bag.

        Now I am particular about that! I've had them years. I clean them immediately after use, but bear in mind they are only used in compost and not earth. The others are clean grungy.

              Ordered this earlier today, used to have a cheap flat-tined one that bent eventually but apparently these round-tined ones are better for clay soils. I'm more than happy to spend a bit more on tools nowadays because you can't beat having a tool you're confident in.
