Hanging Pergola

    I wanted a small hanging pergola on the back of my house to train a wisteria and climbing rose along. I didn't want posts to obstruction. I researched online but no-one had what I wanted unless I went bespoke which would have cost too much money.
    I drew what I thought would be a good design and after much tweaking we (my husband, bricks and works department) decided he could make one. Here's the finished product. I'm delighted with it and as far as we're aware it's a one-off. IMG_2521.JPG

      Looks great! How do the plants climb up to it? Trellis on the wall?

      It is fantastic. Looks really good, well done to you for design, and your husband for execution. You could probably get a fair bit of interest from buyers for pergolas like that!

      Thanks - the plants are in the ground and climbing up a trellis beside the pergola.
