    Thank you everyone for your wishes, we are off out soon to the Kirkstile Inn near Loweswater for lunch (great Steak 'n Ale pie) then a bit of a wander around and about in the lakes in this glorious sunshine.

    I've been pottering around the garden all morning catching up on some smaller chores (not chores really as I enjoy doing them) and I'll probably end up in the garden later today again.

    hi steve did you have a nice day out yesterday and did you enjoy your meal, we are going to bowness-on-windermere beginning of august for the weekend looking forward to going i just love the lake district, must be great to live that close to the lakes
