Weed killing, gel like, stick thingy wotsits??
I believe you just touch it on a leaf, and the leaf dies along with the rest of the weed.
    I think they are a bit pricey  at around £8 - £9 ?
If they do the job though, I guess they are worth it, and probably last a while?
    Anyone got experience?

@NorthantsGeezer Yes I tried one, it is Roundup Gel, didn't work very well for me but maybe I was expecting too much.

Mmmm lots of bending, not good for the back.

We bought a bucket of Wilcos own make root killer that worked well on our block paving and patio. I think it cost £8 ish and makes up to 10L. There is no doubt that Roundup is good however it's very pricey.

I agree with Val i try to avoid weed killer normally but gave this a try and it didnt kill any if them. It was rubbish

And my cats were really attracted to it as well so it was too much work keeping them away from the weeds with it on

I used Roundup gel to target specific weeds growing amongst established veggies on my allotment. They were brambles growing really close to parsnips and I didn't want to disturb the roots of the Parsnips. It worked a treat.

I use the gel for things like Thistles etc growing in between other plants, works well you just need patience as nothing happens for quite a time.

Perfect for weeds that get into your pot plants too.

Mixed reviews then. I have some thistle like weeds growing inbetween plants in my borders. The usual spray type was getting on my plants
I will buy it if I see it cheap then :)
Thanks for the feedback everyone :blue thumb:

The Roundup Gel does seem to be around £8, a tad pricey . @JWK was yours an own brand make from Asda ?
£6 at Wilkos , can't see any other makes on Google.

It was Monsanto Roundup, I think what I saw for £2 was the end of season sale at Asda.
