    Hi Team

I have only found out about "Dahlia Gall".

Crown gall is a disease caused by the bacterium Rhizobium radiobacter (synonym Agrobacterium tumefaciens), which enters the plant through wounds in roots or stems and stimulates the plant tissues to grow in a disorganised way.

I have never heard of it before in the UK and a person I know I haven't spoke to in ages grows them to show .... and I asked how's your dahlia (dont laugh please) and he explained about he has a problem with gall and a certain person who does mail order, her plants are infected (Its a birds name !!!!) so infected tubers etc are spreading it very quickly across the country .....

Soooooo... any one else had problems with this ?

I had a Brug that seemed to have this problem, but taking cuttings seems to have sorted it out.
