Sounds lovely, and not too expensive considering you get 10 plants for just £40! I wonder if this would naturalise easily into my lawn? ;)

    • Perennial. A golden blaze of colour in the May meadows and banks. Flowers composed of bright yellow ray-florets.
    • Flowers: April - June

Dandelions do not grow here, at least not in the south, maybe we are too dry. I have seen seeds for sale along with normal garden plants but I think they were in the veggie/herb section.

On my way to work I pass an area known as Yalding Lees, it's basically an area that tends to flood in winter.
I've got to admit in spring it is a massive blaze of colour, with what is just Dandelions.

But I dont think I'd spend 40 quid on them.

One spring I was visiting Westonbirt arboretume and I looked out over a gate to a field full of dandelion "clocks" and as the breeze blew a whole cloud of white took off, beautiful.
Must have been thousands of pounds worth in that field.

I knew the time had come for an eye test when what I took to be a field full of mushrooms turned out to be dandelion clocks  A crushing disappointment until I thought about the consequences of living near a field like that!
