    Hi All,

Bought this Hebe yesterday but failed to notice that it's suffering from leaf spot. How do I get rid of it? Should I spray it with something like this stuff, or is it better to pot it (was going to pot it in this container), add some fish, blood and bone to the soil and hope it recovers? Also, what John Innes mix should I put in the container?

    It's this one...

    Thanks,

    Nick

@Upsydaisy Thanks very much for that. :) I think the fungus my hebe is afflicted with is Septoria exotica due to the centres of the lesions being pale. Wish someone with experience of growing these would reply!

Got a couple of hebes but never come across that.
I've always thought them to be pretty trouble free.

If yoiu bought that from coolings I'd send it straight back.

Thanks @pete. :) Yes, I think I'll take it back to the garden centre tomorrow, didn't buy it online which is probably better in terms of getting a refund or exchange, actually. Just hope I haven't thrown my receipt away!

No worries @Upsydaisy, thanks for the PDF, it helped me to identify the issue and I'm taking it as a learning experience, I must check plants for signs of disease before buying them in future. I went with a friend so we were chatting and I didn't pay enough attention to the plants, TBH. :)
