Can anyone tell me what to do with my hellebores? the one I planted last year has self seeded and produced a lovely show over spring and early summer. However for some time now it seems to have been dormant. Should I cut it back or just leave it to die back? I don't know the variety, the leaves are large and spiky and very tough and the flowers are very pale green and are about 1-2 inches across.
