Hello from me..

    Hi there I have just joined this forum, I am kinda of new to gardening. I am making a rockery and raised vegatable and herb beds. This is an ongoing project and a big learning curve.
    I live on the west side of the outer Hebrides so we get strong winds and a lot of salt here. Gardening is hard and no tress grow, the soil is mostly peat.
    I have come here because I will need some pointers...

    I like the sound of your soil but not the wind and the salt! I guess wind breaks and cloches are the order of the day.
