    I am a collector of tropical plants and have been working on my greenhouse project for the last 12 months. I've posted some photos on my profile. This is only really the first full season when I have been able to get the most from the greenhouse - best investment I have ever made - everything is growing like crazy. I'm keeping it as a stove house and do not let it go below 22C - summer all year :spinning:. I'm really looking forward to getting involved in the forum - it's great to find somewhere with equally passionate gardeners.

    Hi Gregory - a very warm welcome to the forum. I have got your PM and will reply in a moment. Its great to find another enthusiast for tropical plants. I have found this forum a treasure trove of information, ideas and encouragement. I hope you will too.

    I have had a look at your pictures and as Pam says they look excellent.

    Are you really heating your greenhouse to 22c day and night over the summer. What about winter. I have just had a garden room build and heated it to 10C minimum over the winter. Currently the heating is off and it just reaches whatever temperature the sun dictates. I let it go up to 25C or even 30C until I open the windows. At night it is lower, currently 12C to 16C.

    During the day my humidity falls to 50 or 60%rh, but as the temperature falls overnight the humidity rises to 99%.
