    Hello All

Sadly Mrs. Frost family dog had to be put down yesterday as she suddenly got hit by kidney failure. She was a short legged chunky little black labrabor call Lolly, more commonly known as Wally. :doggieshmooze:

Mrs. Frost's mother would like to buy a rose in her memory so I'd like to advise her on something that fits, not really sure where to start??? I know some of you are rose-pro's and couldn't think of anywhere better to start.

I'll post some pics of the pooch later, she was brill.

      Dog rose? :dunno: (Rosa Canina)

So sorry to hear Lolly/Wally had to be put to sleep; I know the huge hole it will leave in your lives, but, the memories she blessed you with will be treasures to cherish forever. :grphg:

Thank you all, I'll have a look at these. Very nice

They've already bought a new dog, bit pee'd off about it really. She's not even been cremated yet. Is there a feeling that is a mixture pure anger and sadness? If there is, I'm feeling that.

            Will post some pics soon.

Oh dear Nick I can tell you are very hurt & angry about another dog.... It is very difficult when we lose a pet... Some of us cannot take on the idea of another dog straight away.. Others find it is the only way they can cope with the loss & emptyness in their house.. I am sure they are missing Lolly very much too in their own way.... Try not to dwell on it at the moment..
:blue thumb: Looking forward to your pics..

You might also like to include her in the GC Rainbow Garden too.. http://gardenerscorner.co.uk/forum/threads/the-gc-pet-rainbow-garden.35942/page-2

Absolutely! And it goes by the name of ... grief. :grphg:

Try not to judge them too, too harshly because I am sure they only have Mrs Frost's best interests at heart (even if it may appear to be somewhat insensitive to Lolly's memory). They are extremely fortunate to have found another dog so quickly!
