    But I would advise you don't use it if it's been sprayed in Round-up Apple Blossom. :doh::biggrin:

      @Apple Blossom

      Like the look of your recipes for Ground elder, which is good eatin' in certain parts of the world. Enjoy your soups :)

      Also Hairy Bittercress is edible but is apparently incredibly bitter and suited to condiments such as Harissa, rather than soups or main meals.

      If you get fed up of eating Ground Elder, drop me a PM and I'll give you some advice on how to (hopefully!) get rid of the beast.

      Lowered a few trees for a chap yesterday and his borders are absolutely full of Ground Elder but he doesn't seem bothered. He's not much of a gardener.

      I take care of next door's garden and am amazed it hasn't made its way into her garden like the couch grass has (or was until I weed killed it off). By next spring it will have crept through again and I hope and pray the Ground elder doesn't because half the time the lady get's me doing jobs that don't need doing and her borders suffer. She has some strange phobia of honeysuckle which is nothing short of criminal as she always wants it cutting back.

      We were lucky to, almost, eradicate a large amount of ground elder. It was in separate beds and covered a total of approx. 250 sq. ft. We now just get the odd plant appearing. It only took about 30 years to dig it all out. :phew:
