Hello I've just moved house and the previous owner left all her old containers and I was wondering what this is ??

It looks like a varigated euonymus to me (green in the middle of the leaves, with gold on the edges). Some parts of the plant have "reverted" back to green. They will take over the plant, if left. If you cut these all-green stems out, the plant will grow evenly, and probably a little slower as well....
