I'm really really bored. I'm mostly housebound as I have ME. I love herbs and I love all things medieval ...so I thought maybe I could do a medieval herb garden.
First question is - what are those tiny neat hedges they had around the beds? Can I recreate that look on my own?

Hi fumanchu, it's what you call 'box' (buxus) ideal for planting around an enclosed area.

Ok thanks both. So far it's just at the planning stage.
I'm very good at the planning stage :snork:

I suppose you could use Rosemary or Lavender as a border also

Rosemary or lavender would make a great hedge and be dual purpose.

I can't keep rosemary through a winter - but lavender sounds gorgeous yes, that's an idea. :blue thumb:
